1/50 SCALE, METAL MODEL BY VERKUYL c. 1967
This very rare model was produced for KLM in the late sixties.KLM wanted a corporate aircraft for the board and "somebody"may have suggested Lockheed.....The models where made, 5 of them only, but the real thing was never ordered.
I purchased this model in 1997 from Guus Kieft, an old friend who now took an early retirement from flying KLM's 747-400's.
