Braathens F27 Mk100
|
F27-100 Braathens SAFE 1:50 metal by Verkuyl ca 1961.
Braathens was, together with Aer Lingus and Australian TAA, launch customer of the F27. Consequently they used it for many moons in Norway from 1960 until the mid eighties. And not only with Mk100 models but in a later stage also with MK500's.
This true and fine model was purchased in 2007 from Bas van Dijk, who worked for Fokker as an avionics engineer, mainly on the F100 autoflight systems. Note the shaded cockpit windows.Something Verkuyl loved to do on his early models.
