Fokker F27-400 Schreiner metal scale 1:50 by Verkuyl ca. 1964
Schreiner was the very first Dutch civil operator to use the F27 on the, then, developping, IT market. Ofcourse KLM operated two F27's but far away in Iran.
It did not last long....Schreiner basically was killed by both Martinair and Transavia en Bob Schreiner decided it was wiser to move back to general aviation.
I have been waiting a very long time to find a Verkuyl Schreiner Friendship and here she is! Luuk Sneijder from Haarlem generously offered me this model in 2010. His uncle,called Ben, was a Fokker worker and that's the way this F27 ended up in his living room.
