Douglas DC-3 PH-DAW
Aeroclassics scale 1:400 metal.
KLM was the first company in Europe to start DC3 operations in september 1936.
Consequently the company operated many DC-3's and C-47 models. Together with the East Indies and West Indies companies, more than 100 where used.
PH-TDW, later reregistered PH-DAW, joined the fleet in 1947 and finished her carreer for KLM, flying for KLM Aerocarto, in the late sixties.The very last DC-3 left KLM in 1970.
